L’Agence Karkadé a eu le plaisir d’accompagner la Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence dans l’organisation de son premier prix littéraire méditerranéen.
A l’occasion du Salon du livre métropolitain, qui s'est tenu les 25, 26 et 27 octobre 2024 entre le Fort d’Entrecasteaux - Citadelle de Marseille et le palais du Pharo, a été décerné un prix de littérature contemporaine méditerranéenne, qui est venu récompenser une autrice en activité originaire du pourtour méditerranéen et son ou sa traductrice, pour une œuvre de fiction - roman ou nouvelles - publiée en France entre janvier 2023 et avril 2024. Le prix 2024 a été décerné à l'autrice espagnole Alana S. Portero et sa traductrice vers le français Margot Nguyen Béraud pour La mauvaise habitude (2023, Flammarion).
La cérémonie de remise de prix a eu lieu le vendredi 25 octobre 2024. La lauréate, ainsi que les finalistes et leurs traducteurs et traductrices ont été invités pour une lecture publique au Salon du livre méditerranéen, les samedi 26 et dimanche 27 octobre après-midi au Palais du Pharo, Marseille.

Agence Karkadé was pleased to support the Metropole Aix-Marseille-Provence in organizing its first Mediterranean literary prize.
On the occasion of the Salon du livre métropolitain, held on October 25, 26 and 27, 2024 between the Fort d'Entrecasteaux - Citadelle de Marseille and the Palais du Pharo, a prize for contemporary Mediterranean literature has been awarded to an active author from the Mediterranean region and his/her translator, for a work of fiction - novel or short story - published in France between January 2023 and April 2024. The prize was awarded tin 2024 to Spanish author Alana S. Portero and her translator to French Margot Nguyen Béraud for La mauvaise habitude (2023, Flammarion).
The award ceremony took place on Friday, October 25, 2024. The winner, along with the other two finalists and their translators, have been invited to a public reading at the Salon du livre méditerranéen, on Saturday afternoon October 26 and Sunday afternoon October 27 at the Palais du Pharo, Marseille.
