Que peut la littérature, l'écriture, la poésie dans le contexte actuel, bouleversé par les crises et le retournement des valeurs humaines et humanistes ? Comment continuer à créer, exprimer, traduire ? Pourquoi est-ce si important ? Que peut-on faire ?
15h : Discussion ponctuée de lectures, avec les auteur.ice.s Mouna Ouafik, Nasri Sayegh, Sarah Haidar et Souad Labbize, animée par Chirine El Messiri
17h : Atelier participatif autour de la revue Malaab, avec Joan Baz, artiste plasticienne et fondatrice de la revue, et Nasri Sayegh, auteur
Tout au long de l’après-midi : Librairie éphémère assurée par la Librairie Transit, et présentation et vente d’ouvrages de maisons d’édition indépendantes locales, parmi lesquelles Le Port a Jauni, Shed Publishing, SABR/ Collection de Postfirebooks et Malaab.

This afternoon is organized by Agence Karkadé, in association with the festival les Rencontres à l'échelle
What can literature, writing and poetry do in the current context, shaken by crises and the reversal of human and humanist values? How can we continue to create, express and translate? Why is this so important? What can be done?
3pm: Conversation punctuated by readings, with authors Mouna Ouafik, Nasri Sayegh, Sarah Haidar and Souad Labbize, moderated by Chirine El Messiri.
5pm: Participatory workshop on the Malaab magazine, with Joan Baz, visual artist and founder of the magazine, and Nasri Sayegh, author.
Throughout the afternoon: temporary bookshop run by Librairie Transit, alongside local independent publishers, including Le Port a Jauni, Shed Publishing, SABR / a Postfirebooks book collection and Malaab.
